Once your identity has been successfully verified, the next steps help finalise the onboarding of your legal matter. These follow a clear sequence to keep the process compliant, secure, and easy to follow.

1. AML checks complete (behind the scenes)

Your ID results, address checks, and PEP/sanctions screening are reviewed automatically.
If everything is satisfactory, the system moves you to the next step.

2. Your documents are prepared for digital signing

The law firm’s documents (Terms of Business, Client Care Letter, or engagement papers) are pre-filled with your verified details.

You do not need to retype anything.

3. Document signing begins (via DocuSign)

You will be prompted to review and sign your digital documents using your finger or mouse.

4. Payment is requested (if required)

Once documents are signed, the app will securely take you to the payment stage (GoCardless), where the fee amount is pre-filled based on the firm’s fee structure.

5. Confirmation & next steps

You’ll receive confirmation of:

  • Completed verification
  • Signed documents
  • Successful payment (where applicable)

The law firm will then contact you if they need anything further.
